Social insurance (socialni pojisteni)
Contributions to pension and sickness insurance and the state employment policy.
Social insurance funds the pension system, sickness insurance and state employment policy. Employees pay 7.1 percent of gross salary and employers add 24.8 percent. A self-employed person pays 29.2 percent of half of their tax base, with a statutory minimum.
